Bien qu’il puisse se réjouir d’être à nouveau l’acteur le mieux payé d’Hollywood, Dwayne « The Rock » Johnson traverse dernièrement des moments difficiles aux côtés de sa famille, alors que l’acteur hollywoodien et les siens ont récemment combattu la COVID-19.

On a donc une énième preuve que la bonne santé ne freine pas la contagion. Mercredi soir, la star de Jungle Cruise a émis un long discours sur Instagram afin de mettre en garde ses fans, les suppliant de porter un masque pour se protéger et les invitant à la prudence. Annonçant que sa famille et lui avaient contracté le coronavirus par des amis proches, Dwayne Johnson a tout de même rassuré ses abonnés sur son état de santé et celui de ses filles et de sa femme Lauren Hashian.

« Cela a été l'une des choses les plus difficiles que nous ayons eu à traverser en tant que famille », lance l’acteur de 48 ans dans sa vidéo avant d’ajouter : « mais je suis heureux de vous dire que nous allons bien, nous ne sommes plus contagieux et nous sommes, grâce à Dieu, en bonne santé. »

Dwayne Johnson célébrait récemment sa toute première année de mariage aux côtés de sa douce moitié et publiait un impressionnant souvenir de son grand jour à Hawaï.

One year ago today, on August 18, 2019 – I had the honor of marrying @laurenhashianofficial. Later that night she surprised me with this beautiful song, “Step Into A Love Like This” that she wrote and sang herself in honor of our marriage. From the moment I heard the song's opening line, of “…every angel in heaven is singing for us today…” as tribute to our loved ones who've passed away and no longer with us – I got very emotional. As I still get emotional today when I hear those words and watch this wedding footage. Lauren is a gifted and soulful songwriter who wrote every single word of this song (and her vows) to reflect our life and blessings on our wedding day. I'm not a writer, so all I can do is speak from my heart and gut — and other than my three daughters being born — this is the greatest gift I've ever received. Bottom line, I'm a lucky and grateful husband, father and man to have such an amazing woman by my side through this unpredictable, yet beautiful thing we call life. Special shout to my extremely loving daughters, Jazzy and Tia for accompanying daddy as I got down on my knee to do the honors of asking for Lauren's hand in marriage.
